Weekend Update - September 17, 2018

Patrol officers had a steady weekend responding to 231 calls for service between Friday night and Monday morning. Officers made 44 arrests, 37 arrests were made on people for being intoxicated in a public place. The top three calls for service were intoxicated persons (37), disturbances (23) and evictions (13).

File 18-30465-Impaired Driver

At approximately 4:10 a.m. on September 15, 2018 Prince Albert Police Service Patrol conducted a vehicle stop of a suspected impaired driver on the 100 Block of 25 Street West.

There was evidence of alcohol consumption in the vehicle and the driver appeared visually impaired.

The female driver was arrested and brought back to the police station where breathalyzer tests were conducted which she failed.

The 26-year-old female from Prince Albert is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding .08.

The suspect has been released and will make their next court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court October 8, 2018.
