File # 2018-7801: Drug Charges
On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 9:45 p.m. Prince Albert Police Service officers pulled over a car in the parking lot of a hotel on 4000 Block 2nd Avenue West after Police received a tip that the occupants were trafficking methamphetamine.
The occupants were arrested and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Officers located approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine and 22 hydromorph pills. The driver also had a suspended driver’s license and the vehicle was towed and impounded.
Two males were arrested.
A 36-year-old male from Saskatoon is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime not exceeding $5,000 (Info # 991045225).
A 34-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and breach of a probation order (Info # 991045227).
The two suspects appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court yesterday.
