Media Release- Break and Enter in Progress/Recover Stolen Auto/Robbery

File 2019-25833 – Break and Enter in Progress

Charges are pending against two men in connection with separate incidents in the city overnight. Police were called to a break and enter in progress in the Wilson Bay area shortly before midnight Thursday.

Then, at approximately 1:15 a.m. Friday, patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 Block of Branion Drive for an unrelated report of a stabbing [Police File 2019-25841]. Through investigation, police located property believed to have been stolen during the break-in at Wilson Bay late Thursday.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate both incidents.

File 2019-25766 – Recover Stolen Auto

A 19-year-old man has been charged with possession of stolen property after police recovered a stolen vehicle Thursday afternoon. Police stopped the vehicle in the 3000 Block of Dunn Drive around 1:20 p.m. Thursday. The 19-year-old man was to appear in court Friday morning. [Information 991100321]. An 18-year-old woman was also charged with breach of court orders in relation to this incident.

File 2019-25777 – Robbery

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with robbery after attempting to steal a vehicle in the 100 Block of 11th Street West Thursday afternoon. Police arrived quickly and arrested the woman at the scene just after 3 p.m. A small knife was located at the scene.
