Media Release- Fraud/ Counterfeit Bills

Prince Albert Police are investigating several recent incidents involving counterfeit $100 bills being used at businesses around the city.

Over the last few weeks, a number of local businesses have reported counterfeit bills. The bills appear to be of poor quality, although those in possession of the bills may not realize they are fake.

Police are asking members of the public and business owners to be aware and thoroughly check all bills before accepting them.

Police continue to investigate these incidents.
