Weekend Update-June 3, 2019

Prince Albert Police officers responded to 360 calls for service from Friday night to Monday morning. Police made 56 arrests, 37 for intoxication.

File 2019-16718- Break & Enter, Hit & Run

Officers responded to an incident at the corner of 28th Street and Second Avenue West late Sunday evening. A front-end loader had smashed into a retaining wall in front of a business, causing extensive damage to the wall, the railing, and the loader. Police traced the loader to a business in the 3800 Block of 5th Ave. E. The loader was also involved in a hit and run incident on Riverside Drive minutes earlier in which a parked car was severely damaged.

A 13-year-old boy is facing charges in connection with both incidents. He is scheduled to appear in court in Prince Albert on Wednesday (Info # 991092561).

File 2019-16589- Impaired Driving

A 20-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving and being over .08 following an incident Saturday night that knocked out power to some residents in the East Flat area. The incident happened just before midnight. A vehicle collided with a power pole on 7th Street East.

File 2019-16532- Break, Enter & Theft

Police are investigating the theft of live ducks from a location in the 1600 Block of 17th Street West Saturday night. An outside faucet was broken off in the courtyard, causing flooding. The ducks were to be released at Memorial Gardens later this week. Police continue to investigate.
