Media Release - Police Appealing to the Public for Information in Jordan Ballantyne Homicide

File 2018-22388 – Today marks the two-year anniversary of the death of Jordan Ballantyne.

Two years ago, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 9:07 p.m., police and EMS responded to a call of a male person down in a yard near the intersection of 6^th Avenue East and 20^th Street. This male was identified as Jordan Ballantyne.

Jordan Ballantyne’s death has been deemed a homicide and continues to be investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Prince Albert Police Service.

Police would like to thank members of the public who have provided information about this homicide to date. Police are asking anyone who has contacted the service in the past with information to once again call in as follow up with previous tipsters can often lead to new information valuable to the investigation.

Police have released a video of Jordan Ballantyne with the clothing he was wearing prior to his death.
