Media UPDATE – Assist RCMP with Ongoing Incident

UPDATE – The Prince Albert Police Service continues to work to assist RCMP in the search for two suspects following violent incidents in the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon areas.

Additional members with the Prince Albert Police Service continue to be available and are visible throughout the community. PAPS officers continue to liaise with RCMP and are providing support during the investigation.

The Prince Albert Police Service urges residents to stay vigilant as the search for the two suspects continues. Police continue to work to locate Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. Damien is 5’7” and 155 pounds with black hair, brown eyes. Myles is 6’1” and 240 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Residents are asked to use caution and report any suspicious activity by calling 911.

The Prince Albert Police Service is assisting the Saskatchewan RCMP in responding to the ongoing alert involving two suspects following multiple incidents around the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon areas.

Additional officers from the Prince Albert Police Service have been called in to assist with this response and checkpoints have been set up across the city. Motorists and residents can expect traffic delays as this situation continues.

Police are working to locate two suspects: Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. Damien is 5’7” and 155 pounds with black hair, brown eyes. Myles is 6’1” and 240 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Residents are asked to stay at a secure location and be cautious about allowing others into your home. Do not approach suspicious persons and call 911 with any information about this investigation or to report emergencies.
