File # 2018 - 10312: Intent to Traffic Methamphetamine

On June 11, 2018 at approximately 11:26 a.m. an ISET drug search warrant was executed on an apartment on the 400 Block of 12 Street East. A male suspect was located in the apartment and arrested.

The apartment was searched and a large sum of cash, suspected methamphetamine in four baggies weighing just under 73 grams, 52 pills of 9 milligram Hydromorophone, digital scale, water bottle half full of suspected GHB, a cell phone and tablet, and bear spray were located.

Another residence that the suspect frequents was also searched by investigators on the 700 Block of McCraney Crescent and a taser flashlight and digital scale were recovered.

The 39-year-old male suspect from Prince Albert is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, possession of gamma hydroxybutonic for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marihuana, possession of a weapon, bear spray for a purpose dangerous to the public peace, possession of a weapon, a taser flashlight for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and being at large of his recognizance to not possess drugs, cell phones or other electronic devices.

The suspect will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today (Information # 991054802).

The Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team is made up of members from Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. ISETs mandate is street level enforcement focusing on drugs, gangs and illegal firearms.
