Members of the media were invited to a media conference today thanking sponsors who participated in the Prince Albert Police Service 2018 Positive Ticketing Program. The Positive Ticketing Program is a community program where members of the Police Service interact and reward youth for positive interactions in the schools and the community. PAPS and SGI would like to remind residents to #TakeCareOutThere and make sure that they are paying attention to the road while driving. Prince Albert residents in 2017 saw a total of 193 tickets considered “distracted driving” either from using electronic equipment while driving or driving without due care and attention.
