The Prince Albert Police Service has received numerous calls about a telephone scam involving Social Insurance Numbers. Numerous residents in our community have received calls with a recorded message purportedly from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The recording asks residents to “Press 1” to speak with administration about your personal Social Insurance Numbers being used on an arrest warrant or for other purposes. This is a scam. File 2020-8544 Members of the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) seized firearms and weapons as part of a police investigation Tuesday March 17th, 2020.
