Starting Thursday, the Prince Albert Police Service will be holding a month-long Gun Amnesty Program in conjunction with other policing authorities throughout the province. Prince Albert Police Service had a busy weekend, responding to 233 calls for service between Friday evening and Monday morning with 32 arrests. The top three calls for service were for intoxicated persons, disturbances and evictions. File # 2018-7801: Drug Charges  On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 9:45 p.m. Prince Albert Police Service officers pulled over a car in the parking lot of a hotel on 4000 Block 2nd Avenue West after Police received a tip that the occupants were trafficking methamphetamine. Prince Albert Police Service Patrol Unit and Police Service Dog (PSD) Febee nabbed a break-and-enter suspect early this morning. On March 21, 2018 at 2:55 a.m. patrol responded to a call that two males in dark clothing were attempted to break into vehicles on Kelly Place.
