Weekend Update - November 26, 2018

The Prince Albert Police Service had a steady weekend responding to 230 calls for service between Friday evening and Sunday morning with 48 arrests.  Top calls for service were disturbance calls (23) and intoxicated person calls (23).

Impaired Driver #2018-38399

On Friday, November 23, 2018 at approximately 7:20 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted on a suspected impaired vehicle on the 1200 Block of 2^nd Avenue West.

The driver had visible signs of impairment and was arrested and the vehicle towed. He failed breathalyzer tests conducted at the police station and is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding .08.

The 52-year-old male from Big River, Saskatchewan has since been released to appear before Prince Albert Provincial Court on December 13, 2018.
