Prince Albert Police responded to 274 calls for service between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

File 2019-17287- Possession of Dangerous Weapon

A 22-year-old man is facing several weapons-related charges following an incident in the unit block of 13th Street West Friday afternoon. Police were called to a downtown business around 5:40 p.m. Friday for a weapons complaint involving a man allegedly threatening a customer. Police arrested the man after a short foot pursuit. He was scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court Monday morning (Information # 991093181).

File 2019-17372- Stolen Motor Vehicle

Police spotted a stolen vehicle early Saturday morning in the 1400 Block of 15th Avenue East. Officers did not pursue the vehicle due to concerns for public safety. The vehicle was located at a business in the area a short time later. Three women, aged 18, 19 and 24, were arrested. The 24-year-old woman is also charged with possession of a controlled substance in relation to this incident.

File 2019-17418-Possession of Dangerous Weapon

A 29-year-old man was arrested Saturday afternoon for public intoxication in the 200 Block of 15th Street West. Upon further investigation, the man was found to be in possession of a knife and was charged with carrying a concealed weapon..

File 2019-17510- Break and Enter

Police have charged a 53-year-old man with break and enter after responding to a complaint at a business in the 200 Block of 38th Street East. The incident happened just before 1 p.m. on Sunday. The man barricaded himself inside the building but was arrested soon after following a search by police..

File 2019-17524- Recover Stolen Property

Police were able to recover a stolen watch thanks to the help of a local resident. The resident alerted police to an ad on a local online buy and sell page Sunday afternoon in which someone was attempting to sell the watch. Police arranged a meeting with the alleged seller and recovered the expensive item. The watch was stolen during a break in at a residence in the city earlier this month. A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property.
