On June 5, 2018 the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a stolen vehicle complaint on the 900 Block 18 Street West. The complainant stated around 10:30 p.m. on June 4, 2018 (the previous day) they had discovered that their black car was stolen from the driveway.

At approximately 4 p.m., on June 5, officers were dispatched to the area of 4th Avenue and 11th Street East for a disturbance call of two vehicles traveling at high speeds. One of the vehicles involved was the stolen black car which was located by officers in the area parked. A suspect that had attempted to flee the scene was located in a nearby house and arrested.

The 28-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with possession of stolen property not exceeding $5,000 (Information #991054191).

The suspect will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
