File 2021-45154 UPDATE – A 31-year-old man from Prince Albert was arrested at a residence in the 1700 Block of 15th Street West in the early morning hours of March 3, 2022 for the second degree murder of Byron Bear. On February 23, 2022, just before 5:30 am, Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 500 Block of 5th Street East for a complaint of a shooting. On arrival officers located a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Saskatoon man with child pornography offences in relation to an investigation of possession of child pornography that began in December of 2021. On February 17, 2022 members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Saskatoon that was identified as the location where the offences were occurring.
