Media Release - Fourth Arrest in Homicide

UPDATE – A 31-year-old man from Prince Albert was arrested at a residence in the 1700 Block of 15^th Street West in the early morning hours of March 3, 2022 for the second degree murder of Byron Bear. This is the fourth person arrested and charged with the murder of Byron Bear as officers with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate.

The 31-year-old accused will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on March 4, 2022 [Information 90409842].

Byron Bear is the victim of a homicide stemming from police responding to a call on December 6, 2021 in the 300 Block of 9^th Street East.
