The bridge has now been cleared and traffic has resumed to regular levels.
The driver of the semi that crashed into a guard rail has been fine for deviating from the truck route.

At 7:45 a.m., December 12, 2017 Prince Albert Police Service responded to the Diefenbaker Bridge as a semi-truck towing a trailer got hung up on a guard rail, coming from Highway 55 East.
No other vehicles were involved and there are no injuries.
Traffic on the bridge is restricted to one lane of South Bound flowing traffic.
Police continue to work to free up two South bound lanes on the bridge.
