Media Release - Wilful Damage File 2022-25857

A 25-year-old woman is facing charges in connection with damage to the front window at the Prince Albert Police Service’s community substation earlier this week.

On Tuesday, July 12 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the front glass door to the community substation, located at 40-10^th Street East, was smashed. The suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended by police following a short foot pursuit.

Upon further investigation, police located a large sickle and an exacto knife.

The accused, from Prince Albert, is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon x 2, possession of a concealed weapon, and mischief in connection with this incident. [Information 991202545]

Damage to replace the window is estimated at approximately $1,140.
