Media Release - Wilful Damage File 2021-30202

File 2021-30202 – On Monday, August 16, 2021 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Prince Albert Police arrested a man wanted by RCMP in connection with a report of a robbery with firearm earlier this month at Little Red First Nation.

The 25-year-old man has been remanded into custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

The man was arrested by Prince Albert Police following a complaint involving a male attempting to break into a vehicle parked in the 100 Block of 26^th Street West Monday. Police received a second report of damage to a vehicle in the 2700 Block of 2^nd Avenue West soon after and located a suspect nearby.

He was arrested following a short foot pursuit and is facing additional charges of wilful damage and theft under $5,000 in relation to this file. [Information 991169661]
