Prince Albert Police members responded to 257 calls for service over the weekend.

File 2021-39646 – Wilful Damage/ Request Public Assistance

Police are asking for the public’s help after several vehicles were damaged late Sunday night in a parking lot in the 2400 Block of 24th Street West. Police were called to the area at approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday after several vehicle owners reported their tires had been slashed or windows broken.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

File 2021-39585 – Assault

A 31-year-old man is facing charges for assault, obstruction, uttering threats, theft under $5,000 and breach of court conditions after police were called to a business in the 2900 Block of 2nd Avenue West Sunday afternoon. Just before 1:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a report a man had assaulted a staff member and attempted to steal merchandise.

Officers arrested the man nearby. [Information 991177283]

File 2021-39536 – Discharge Firearm

Prince Albert Police responded to a report of two gunshots in the 500 Block of 26th Street East late Saturday night. Police continue to investigate.

File 2021-39435 – Aggravated Assault

Police have charged a 24-year-old man from Prince Albert with aggravated assault, sexual assault, uttering threats, and unlawful confinement after police were called to a residence in the 800 Block of 15th Street West early Saturday morning. One woman was treated for non life-threatening stab wounds to her cheek and thigh, and one man was treated for a stab wound to his neck. [Information 991177226]
