Prince Albert Police officers responded to 248 calls for service over the weekend and made 29 arrests. The majority of calls involved disturbances and intoxicated persons.
Police have issued two distracted driving tickets since increased fines came into effect Saturday. Both drivers were ticketed for using their cell phones while operating a motor vehicle.
File 2020-3643 – Robbery
Police are investigating a robbery in the 2200 Block of Sixth Ave. E. that occurred around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. A restaurant delivery driver reported a man carrying bear spray took his wallet containing cash and ID.
Police have identified a suspect in this file and continue to investigate.
File 2020-3469 – Weapons Complaint
A 20-year-old man is facing numerous weapons-related charges following an incident in the 1000 Block of 13th St. W. Friday evening. Police were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. Friday for a complaint of a man threatening a woman with a firearm. [Information 991120005]
