Prince Albert Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the person or persons responsible for a shooting overnight Monday that sent a 25-year-old man to hospital.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 Block of 22^nd Street West early Tuesday morning for a report that a man had been shot. The victim was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with injuries to his shoulder.

The incident is believed to have occurred around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday near the spray park in Kinsmen Park as the man was walking home from a residence in the 200 Block of 26^th Street East.

Police are asking residents who live in these areas to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity between the hours of 9 p.m. on Monday, June 28 and 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
