Prince Albert Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the person or persons responsible for a shooting overnight Monday that sent a 25-year-old man to hospital.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 Block of 22nd Street West early Tuesday morning for a report that a man had been shot. The victim was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with injuries to his shoulder.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday near the spray park in Kinsmen Park as the man was walking home from a residence in the 200 Block of 26th Street East.
Police are asking residents who live in these areas to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity between the hours of 9 p.m. on Monday, June 28 and 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
