Members with the Prince Albert Police Service arrested a man Tuesday morning following a report of a robbery and break and enter at a home in the 500 Block of 5^th Street East.

At approximately 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a break in at the residence. A man reportedly entered the home and assaulted a female resident inside. The woman was able to leave the residence and call police.

The suspect left the home soon after on foot and was arrested nearby.

Matthew Misponas of Ile a la Crosse is facing several charges in connection with this incident, including robbery, break and enter, assault, and failure to comply with a court order. Misponas, 30, made his first court appearance in Prince Albert on Wednesday. [Information 991223651]
