Media Release – Patrol, Proactive Policing Unit Investigation Leads to Charges

The Prince Albert Police Service’s Patrol section and Proactive Policing Unit (PPU) worked together to review crime trends and identify suspects in multiple recent reports of property crime.

Between November 23 and November 24, 2022, police located multiple stolen items in connection to several recent incidents and have arrested and charged two men with multiple offences.

On November 23, investigation led police to a property in the Unit Block of 26th Street East where a stolen utility trailer, a 2022 Polaris Snowmobile, and an orange fuel tank were located (File 2022-43905/ 2022-43556). Stevie Ray Bannerman, 31, is facing three charges of possession of stolen property in relation to this investigation. [Information 991215242]

On November 24, police arrested Tyson Tobey in connection with an investigation into reports involving a stolen vehicle and a stolen snowblower (Files 2022-44035/ 2022-43545/2022-4386/ 2022-43877/ 2022-43881). Tobey, age 27, is facing charges of breach of probation x 2, breach of release order, possession of stolen property x 2 and flight from police. [Information 991215368, 991215247]
