File 2020-8365 – Robbery/Aggravated Assault

On March 15, 2020 at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a report of a person down in an alley in the 200 Block of 9^th Street East.

Upon arrival, patrol members located a 60-year-old male suffering from serious life-threatening injuries and missing some of his personal belongings. Parkland Ambulance attended and the male was transported to Victoria Hospital. Due to the serious nature of the injuries, the male was then transported to RUH in Saskatoon via STARS.

Patrol, Criminal Investigations and the Forensic Identification Units investigated and charged a 20-year-old male with robbery and aggravated assault. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court March 17, 2020.

The Prince Albert Police Service is asking residents to review their video surveillance, specifically the areas between the 100 Block of 9th and 10th Street East to the 400 Block of 9th and 10th Street East. Residents are asked to check for any activity between the times of 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
