Just before 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, police were called to a business in the 2800 Block of 6th Avenue East for a report of a robbery with a firearm.
While in the area, police located a vehicle that was believed to be associated with the incident, driving at a high rate of speed away from the area (File 2021-39028). Police members pursued until it came to rest in a yard in the 1400 Block of Coster Road. A 33-year-old man from Prince Albert is facing charges including flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and breach of release order [Information 991176773]. A 19-year-old woman from Prince Albert is charged with breach of probation and being an occupant in a stolen vehicle [Information 991176771]. These subjects were found to not be involved in the armed robbery.
While dealing with these two subjects, police received a call involving a male pointing a firearm at a residence in the 500 Block of 28th Street East. Police arrived quickly and located a 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman from Prince Albert who matched the description from the recent robbery. They are facing several firearms-related charges including robbery with a firearm in relation to the incident at the business [Information 991176780].
