Media Release – Police Appealing to the Public for Information in Disappearance of Happy Charles

Today marks three years since the disappearance of Happy Marie Charles.

The Prince Albert Police Service continues to actively investigate the disappearance of Ms. Charles and is appealing to the public once again for information as to her whereabouts.

Throughout the investigation, many people have been cooperative in providing statements and facts about the night of Ms. Charles’ disappearance. The Prince Albert Police Service urges anyone who has additional information, or who has been withholding information, to come forward and help the family of Ms. Charles find closure.

“Whatever the truth is, the family and all those connected deserve to know what happened to their loved one,” said Sgt. Kathy Edwardsen with the Prince Albert Police Service. “We urge anyone who has any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward and help police find the truth.”

Happy Charles was last seen April 3, 2017 in the vicinity of the Prince Albert Collegiate Institute (PACI) 45-20th Street West.

Happy Charles was born March 22, 1975 and stands 5’1” tall and 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair, and a scar on her left cheek. Ms. Charles also has a tattoo of a rose on her right hand.
