Media Release - Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Police Vehicle

On March 19, 2023, just before 2:30 pm, while responding to a report of a weapons complaint in the 3200 Block of 2^nd Avenue West, a member with the Prince Albert Police Service was involved in a motor vehicle collision. The officer was travelling with emergency lights and sirens activated when they were involved in a collision at the intersection of 2^nd Avenue and 28^th Street West.

Parkland Ambulance attended the scene and tended to minor injuries, but did not transport anyone to hospital.

Both vehicles were no longer drivable as a result of the collision and were towed from the scene.
