File 2020-28462 – CED Deployment
Prince Albert Police report the deployment of a conductive energy device (CED) Wednesday afternoon after a man attempted to assault an officer while trying to resist arrest.
Officers on routine patrol spotted the man in the 2800 Block of 6th Avenue East just after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The man was out in the community while bound by a 24-hour court-ordered curfew to remain at home related to serious drug and weapons charges.
A 42-year-old man was arrested, he is charged with resisting arrest and breach of release conditions. [Information 991135120]
File 2020-28454 – Break and Enter in Progress
A 39-year-old man is charged with break and enter after a resident called police to report a break and enter.
Police were called to the 200 Block of Riverside Drive around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and located a male inside a shed in the area. [Information 991135121]
File 2020-28452 – Fire
At approximately 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, a member of the Prince Albert Police Service en route to a nearby call, spotted a large fire on the back deck of a residence in the 600 Block of River Street East.
Police requested the assistance of the Prince Albert Fire Department, who arrived quickly to contain the fire.
The fire is not considered suspicious.
