Members with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT) have arrested a 22-year-old man on an outstanding warrant in an investigation that also led to the seizure last week of a loaded, sawed-off shotgun.
On Wednesday, April 5, CRT members located a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of court-ordered release conditions in the area around 9th Avenue and 15th Street West. He was safely taken into custody following a short foot pursuit.
Upon further investigation, police located the loaded firearm nearby.
Richard Budd from Prince Albert is facing numerous firearms-related charges, and is further charged with resisting a peace officer in relation to this investigation. [991227984]
