File 2019-27516 – Break and Enter

Some good heads-up policing from patrol officers early Thursday morning led to the quick recovery of a stolen bike. Officers on routine patrol spotted an opened garage door around 3:30 a.m. in the 1500 Block of Barton Dr. Thursday morning and notified homeowners. A bike valued at about $800 was stolen from the garage. Officers located the stolen bike less than an hour later near 22nd Street and Fourth Avenue East (File 2019-27525). A 32-year-old man is facing charges of possession of stolen property and breach of court order. [Information 991102082]

File 2019-27486 – Possess Dangerous Weapon

Police were dispatched to a weapons complaint in the 3200 Block of Second Ave. W. late Wednesday evening. A man reported he had been threatened by a male with a knife. A 30-year-old man is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, obstruction of a peace officer, and several breaches of court orders. [Information 991102091]

File 2019-27443 – Disturbance

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for causing a disturbance outside a home in the 600 Block of 15th St. W. Wednesday afternoon. Police were called to the area just after 4 p.m. for a man banging on doors and yelling. Police located a folding knife and a small bag of methamphetamine on the man’s person. He is charged with breach of court order and possession of a controlled substance and appeared in court Thursday morning. [Information 991102003]

File 2019-27247 – Robbery

Police made a quick arrest following a robbery at a business earlier this week in the 2600 Block of Second Ave. W. Police were called to the area around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning for a complaint that a woman had threatened a staff member with a knife. The knife was located behind the business. Through further investigation, police identified a 42-year-old female suspect. She is charged with robbery and appeared in court Thursday morning. [991102023]
