UPDATE – Police have identified a man suspected of assaulting a woman at a local business earlier this month. The incident happened after the woman was accused of not following directional signage at the store.
A 71-year-old man has been charged with one count of assault in relation to this incident from February 1, 2022.
The police service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in identifying the man seen on surveillance photos from the store. The accused is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court later this month. [Information 991187771]
Prince Albert Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who is believed to have assaulted a woman at a local business on the afternoon of February 1, 2022.
Just before 2 p.m., a woman reported she was confronted by a man who accused her of not following directional signage inside the store. The man is believed to have pushed the woman and punched her several times in the head before staff intervened.
Surveillance camera photos of the man are attached to this media release. The man is seen wearing a ball cap, green jacket and face mask. He was seen leaving the area in an early 2000s-model blue GMC or Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck.
