A 36-year-old man is in Victoria Hospital after falling from the train bridge late Thursday morning.
On June 14, 2018 at 11:38 a.m. Prince Albert Police Service responded to the North Saskatchewan River after witnesses observed a male fall from the train bridge. Witnesses observed the man in the river across from the Museum when they called police.
Prince Albert Fire Dept. responded to the boat launch where they partnered with RCMP who were already on the river in boats doing scheduled training. Members of the Prince Albert Fire Dept. got into a RCMP boat with members of the RCMP and located the male in the water at 11:48 a.m.
The male was brought to the boat launch where Parkland Ambulance was waiting. Parkland Ambulance transported the male to Victoria Hospital.
Police are not investigating further as this is not a criminal matter.
