ISET Drug and Firearms Seizure - November 26, 2018

ISET Drug and Firearms Seizure – November 26, 2018

On Friday, November 23, 2018 at 8:44 p.m., the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) and Prince Albert Police Service Tactical Unit executed a search warrant on a residence on the 200 Block of 24 Street East.

Several males attempted to escape from the residence but were apprehended by officers and the K9 Unit. In total, 10 suspects were located on the property and arrested.

From the search, more than 320 grams of crack cocaine, 60 grams of methamphetamine, a large amount of Canadian Currency, a revolver and a handgun were seized.

Seven are facing the following charges – A 21-year-old male from Calgary, a 23-year-old male from Edmonton, a 24-year-old male from Edmonton, a 33-year-old male from Prince Albert, a 23-year-old male from Edmonton, a 21-year-old male from Edmonton and a 21-year-old female from Prince Albert are all charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained from proceeds of trafficking exceeding $5,000 and 12 firearms related charges (Information #991072876).

Two other males – a 21-year-old male from Calgary is facing four firearms related charges (Information # 991072878), and a 22-year-old male from Edmonton is facing four firearm related charges and a breach of a youth sentence order to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

All accused will face charges before Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

ISET is made up of members of the Prince Albert Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
