Media Release - Vehicle vs. Pedestrian

On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at 10:05 pm we attended to the 3400 block of 2nd Avenue West for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The Prince Albert Fire Department and Parkland Ambulance also responded to the scene.

The pedestrian, a 45-year-old woman, was declared deceased at the scene.

Officers with the Prince Albert Police Service Forensic Identification Section and RCMP Accident Reconstructionist were called out to assist. Police do not believe that drugs, alcohol, or speed were factors.

The investigation is continuing.
