Attempted Break and Enter

The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) arrested a suspect yesterday after a attempted break-in of a local residence.

On August 15, 2018 at 4:08 p.m. the Prince Albert Police Service Patrol Unit was dispatched on a break-and-enter call to a residence on the 500 Block of 8 Street East.

The complainant observed the suspect who attempted the unsuccessfully entry into the back door of the residence and then walked away.

The male suspect was located a few blocks away by officers on the 700 Block of 5 Street East and arrested.

The 56-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with attempted break-and-enter (Information # 991062069).

The suspect will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
