Homicide - Update July 10, 2018

An autopsy by the Office of the Chief Coroner has confirmed the manner of death to be homicide in the case of recently deceased 28-year-old male Tyrell Bird.

Bird was shot on June 28^th, 2018 in the alley of the 200 block 9^th St East around 9 pm and later died in a Saskatoon hospital.

This is the first homicide of 2018 in Prince Albert.

No arrests or charges have yet been laid in connection with this case. The Prince Albert Police Service continue an active investigation.
