On Thursday, November 30, 2017 shortly after 11 p.m. a vehicle containing suspected stolen merchandise was pulled over by patrol on 5th Avenue and River Street.

The male driver and female passenger were both arrested. The vehicle was searched and miscellaneous stolen electronics and other items were recovered. Drugs were also located and seized. In total six baggies were recovered containing cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy, with each baggie weighing under 1 gram.

A 34-year-old female from Birch Hills, Saskatchewan has now been charged with stealing merchandise not exceeding $5,000, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of ecstasy.

The suspect will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
