File #19004: Drug Charges

At approximately 10:40 p.m. July 19, 2018, two males known to police, were located walking northbound on 5th Avenue East towards 7 Street East. The first male was immediately arrested for breaching his curfew conditions and searched.

The suspect was carrying a backpack which contained a homemade knife, 24 baggies containing suspected methamphetamine weighing a total of 4.8 grams and one baggie of suspected crack cocaine weighing .4 grams. . The second male was also carrying a knife and arrested.

A 29-year-old male from Montreal Lake, Saskatchewan is charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon, a knife, for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and being at large of his recognizance (Information #991055738).

A 20-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with possession of a weapon, a knife, for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and being bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour (Information #991055736).

The suspects will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
