Concealed weapon charge

File 2018 – 34349 – Possession of Concealed Weapon

On October 17, 2018 at 3:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to an apartment building on the Unit Block of Bryant Place for a weapon call.

The male suspect had allegedly attended uninvited to the female victim’s apartment and had threatened her life with a handgun.

The suspect had left the apartment before police arrived. Officers tracked down the suspect a short time later at a drive-thru on 2^nd Avenue West and 32^nd Street. The suspect was arrested without incident. A BB gun was located on the suspect when arrested.

The 42-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with a possession of a concealed weapon and being at large of his undertaking to stay at an approved residence during his curfew and to not attend the residence of the victim except for arranged family visits.

The suspect will make their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today (Information # 991068724).
