Prince Albert Police members responded to 276 calls between Friday evening and Monday morning. This number is down from the same time last year, when police received 298 calls for service. The majority of calls for service were for disturbances. On Saturday August 3rd, 2019, at 3:37 p.m. members of the Prince Albert Police Service attended to the 600 block of 13th Street West for a report of a male who had been assaulted. An 87-year-old male was the victim of an aggravated assault and had life threatening injuries. The male received medical attention for his injuries and remains in hospital.
