Break and Enter suspects caught

The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) arrested and charged three suspects yesterday after a break-in of a local residence, with the robbers taking off with the victim’s vehicle, electronics and a wedding dress.

On August 13, 2018 at 3:45 a.m. the Prince Albert Police Service Patrol Unit was dispatched on a break-and-enter call to a residence on the 500 Block of 19 Street West.

A couple woke up in their bed to discover two male youth dressed in black in their bedroom. The unknown suspects fled the house taking keys from downstairs and driving away with the victims’ SUV along with their laptop, gaming system and a wedding dress.

At 9:15 a.m. PAPS located the stolen vehicle, abandoned, still running on 2nd Avenue Northwest and Cambridge Street.

Patrol located the suspects walking nearby on 13th and 3rd Avenue and they were arrested.

A 15-year-old male youth from Prince Albert is charged with break-and-enter and theft of a motor vehicle (Information #99106773).

A 14-year-old female youth from Prince Albert is charged with break-and-enter and committing theft of a motor vehicle (Information #991061772).

A 19-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with break-and-enter and theft of a motor vehicle (Information #991061771).

The three suspects will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
