The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 208 calls for service over the weekend and arrested 23 people. The top two calls for service were for intoxicated persons and disturbances.

On November 3, 2017 at 7:20 p.m., patrol members responded to a business in the 800 Block of 5th Street East for a robbery that had just occurred. On arrival police spoke with the lone employee who advised an unknown male entered the business with his face covered, holding a screw driver in one hand and a hammer in the other. The unknown suspect demanded cash. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets.
The suspect possibly got into a light grey car with the back window covered in clear plastic.
Police continue to investigate. The victim was not injured.

Two males have been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding .08 in separate incidents.
On November 4, 2017 just before 6:00 a.m., police were dispatched just north of the Diefenbaker Bridge as a vehicle had hit the guard rail. Police attended and located the suspected car, parked and a male in the driver’s seat intoxicated. The driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08. The 57-year-old male from Spruce Home will make his first court appearance on December 5, 2017.
On November 5, 2017 around 10:00 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a suspected impaired driver. Patrol located the vehicle and pulled it over at the intersection of 6th Avenue West and 16th Street West. The male driver was intoxicated and has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding .08. The 32-year-old male from Wakaw will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today (Info # 991030734).
