On Tuesday, December 12, 2017 after 6 a.m. Prince Albert Police Service officers attended to a business on 2700 Block 2nd Avenue West on a weapons call.

The male suspect appeared to be intoxicated and was openly carrying bear spray. An off-duty correctional officer at the business intervened and held the suspect until officers arrived and arrested the male.

The 19-year-old male suspect from Prince Albert is charged with possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and carrying a concealed weapon.

The suspect will answer to charges in Prince Albert Provincial Court today. (Information #991034529).
