Two Men Arrested After Police Execute Search Warrant

Police seized firearms, ammunition, tools, bikes, debit machines and a variety of other property after executing a search warrant at a home on Kemp Crescent Wednesday morning. Police searched the home just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Located inside the garage of the residence were the following:

• A sawed-off .22 calibre rifle
• A blue mountain bike reported stolen earlier this week
• Numerous power tools
• Propane-powered weed whacker
• Several mountain bikes
• Compound bow and arrows
• Paintball gun
• A cheque book and several altered cheques
• Live rounds for a shotgun and .22 calibre rifle
• Several cell phones and iPads
• Several bike tires
• Woodworking tools

Police located two more bikes and three lawnmowers in the back yard of the residence. Three debit machines and a bike were seized from inside the home.

Two men are facing charges including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property, and careless use of a firearm in relation to the search warrant.
