Chief Bergen introduced his new administrative team of the Prince Albert Police Service to the media today.  

Inspector McDonald is in charge of the Patrol Division, which includes four platoons. Each platoon has one Staff Sergeant, two Sergeant’s and ten Constable’s.

Inspector Kellett is in charge of Support Services that include the Canine Unit, Combined Traffic Services, Community Services, Bylaw Section and Victim Service’s. Inspector Kellett is also responsible for the police service’s fleet vehicles, uniforms, equipment and building maintenance. The Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Negotiating Team and police recruitment also fall under Inspector Kellett.

Inspector Mushka is in charge of the Criminal Investigation Division that includes the following sections: Historical Crimes, Child Protection Unit, Criminal Investigations, Identification Unit, Intelligence Unit, Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), Integrated Special Enforcement Team (ISET), Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Dispatch. 

Inspector’s McDonald, Kellett and Mushka started their administrative roles with the police service on January 22, 2019.

Inspector McDonald started with P.A.P.S in August 1995. Inspector McDonald has experience on patrol, drug investigations, Major Crimes and was a member of the SWAT Team. Inspector McDonald was most recently the Staff Sergeant in charge of the Criminal Investigation Division.

Inspector Kellett started with P.A.P.S in September 1998. Inspector Kellett has experience on Patrol and the Traffic Division and was a member of the SWAT Team. Inspector Kellett was most recently the Staff Sergeant in charge of B Platoon.

Inspector Mushka started with P.A.P.S in January 2001. Inspector Mushka has experience on patrol, K9, Major Crimes and was a member of the SWAT Team. Inspector Mushka was most recently a Staff Sergeant in charge of C Platoon.
