Possession of Stolen Property - March 19, 2019

One male is in custody after he was caught going through vehicles early Tuesday morning.

On March 19, 2019 at 3:00 a.m. patrol members responded to a complaint of an unknown suspect  going through parked vehicles in the 1300 Block of 4^th Street East. Officers quickly located the suspect and arrested him without incident.  The suspect was in possession of stolen property, obtained from several different vehicles.

A 22-year-old male from Prince Albert will appear in court today on a charge of possession of stolen property (Info # 991084785). The male also had an outstanding warrant for breach of a conditional sentence order.

   With the warm weather now upon us, Prince Albert Police Service want to remind the public to keep their property safe by taking some precautions.

• Make it a routine every night to ensure your vehicle doors are locked.
• Do not leave valuables in your vehicle or in plain sight.
• Do not leave personal or bank information in your vehicle.
• Do not leave a spare key in your vehicle.
