On Monday January 29, 2018 at 11:50 a.m. patrol members pulled over a taxi cab on the 3300 Block of 6 Avenue North. The officers arrested the male passenger inside that was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of recognizance. The suspect was searched and 4.7 grams of marihuana and a large amount of cash was found on his person. The suspect had also attempted to hide a phone and a wrapped package of cash and a chain in the cab which police located and also seized.

The 23-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with having in his possession proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, being at large of his recognizance to not possess a cell phone and unlawful possession of marihuana.

The suspect will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

File # 2018-2826 : Break and Enter

On January 30, 2018 at 5:30 a.m., Prince Albert Police Service responded to an alarm call at a residence in the 100 Block of 21 street East. Patrol attended and observed a single set of shoe prints in the snow going into the garage and then leaving the scene. Patrol officers located a male on 1st Avenue and 19 Street East. The male was arrested as he was wearing shoes that matched the shoe imprint at the residence.

The 32-year-old male from Saskatoon is charged with break and enter and breach of court order (Info # 991039597). The suspect will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
