MVA - A female driver in critical condition.
A 50-year-old female driver from Prince Albert is in critical condition after striking a light standard with her vehicle early this morning.
Emergency personnel were called on scene after a white sedan struck a light standard and flipped on its side.
PAPS responded to the accident on 6th Avenue and Branion Drive at approximately 2:52 a.m. this morning.
When officers arrived, the white sedan was on its side and a female victim was pinned underneath the vehicle. The driver appears to not have been wearing a seatbelt and became pinned under the rolled over vehicle.
The Prince Albert Fire Department arrived on scene and extracted the female who was transported by Parkland Ambulance to hospital.
A light standard nearby was knocked over and lying on the ground.
The woman is reported to be in critical condition and was airlifted by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital this morning.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor. PAPS continues their investigation.
