UPDATE - The Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigation Division arrested a 37-year-old man from Prince Albert on February 10, 2022 for second degree murder in relation to an incident that occurred on December 6, 2021.

On December 6, 2021, just after 4:00 am, Police responded to the area of the 300 block of 9th Street East for a report of gun shots. On arrival, police located evidence of a serious assault but no victim. Police can now confirm that 27-year-old Byron Bear, who was reported missing by family on December 7, 2021 is the victim of a homicide, which occurred at a residence in the 300 Block of 9th Street East.

The 37-year-old accused will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial court Friday morning [Information 90409840].

This is the second arrest in two days in relation to this investigation. Raine Farrow was arrested on February 9, 2022 and is charged with second degree murder. [Information 90409839]

The Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate. More information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
